César Pérez Sentenat (1896-1973) was a Cuban professor of music important as an influential teacher of classical piano in Cuba.〔Helio Orovio Cuban Music from A to Z 082238521X- 2004 Page 164 "He is not remembered as a composer of music; rather his career had an educational orientation.〕 His students included Magaly Ruiz, Juan Piñera and Horacio Gutiérrez.
